Nick Wright Audio

Here is Nick's most recent TV reel, including some appearances on ESPN, CNN, MSNBC, Comcast SportsNet Houston & other outlets.

Nick can't believe that two broadcasting icons--Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth--seemingly set their integrity aside to carry the NFL's water during a recent playoff broadcast.

As it becomes increasingly clear that Tom Brady is going to get suspended for his role in #DeflateGate, Nick makes the only point that should matter in this story and points the finger away from Brady and towards the league office. You can listen to that right here.

Here's Nick, on the day after the Donald Sterling audio leaked, explaining why he's actually glad Sterling said what he said and he explains what Sterling's real crime actually was, and how that specific crime has affected Nick and his family.

Nick believes that college athletes should be able to major in "Professional Athlete." Nick debunks all the possible criticisms of this idea and takes calls on whether or not this is a feasible plan.

Right as Nick starts his show, LeBron James hits a game winning shot to even up the Eastern Conference semifinals at two games apiece. Nick celebrates LeBron's greatness, even though he knows that many fans and media will continue to move the goalposts on the greatest active American athlete. You can listen to that right here.

Moments after the news broke that Dwight Howard was leaving the Lakers Nick places the blame squarely on the shoulders of one person: Kobe Bean Bryant.

Right after speaking to Bill Shaikin of the LA Times, Nick discusses the insane idea that Yasiel Puig
wouldn't be an All Star because he hasn't been in the big leagues long enough. Nick also sets his sights squarely on Jonathan Papelbon for some comments he made about Puig.

Every year during football season, Nick goes over his NFL Power Ranking, in an exceedingly unique way. 30 seconds per team, all 32 teams, in order of 32 to 1. It's very fast paced and packed with information. Unfortunately, the 2014 version has been lost, so here's his 2013 version. You can listen right here. The "Play" button is near the bottom of the page. Spoiler Alert: He was very right on the Seahawks & Broncos... not so much on the Houston Texans.

The Redskins name controversy is back in the news, and Nick asks a very simple question: Why do people, almost exclusively white people, get so bent out of shape that maybe they should change the team's name. Nick also gives a brief history lesson to those that need it.

Speaking of the Redskins, Nick made a bet with his local co-host that he could get Mike Ditka, a friend of the show, to go an impromptu rant about either the wussification of America or about the "political correct left." Nick ends up playing a bit of a joke on the Hall of Famer in order to win the bet.

Here's an interview with Nick and the owner of the Astros, Jim Crane, on his local show in Houston, on Astros' opening day in 2014. The Astros were coming off their 3 worst seasons in franchise history and were not on TV locally in 2013 due to a huge issue with their local television deal. Additionally, the Astros had the lowest payroll in baseball for three consecutive years. All of these issues, and others, come up in a somewhat contentious interview that you can here via this link.  One note, the webpage is formatted poorly, so in order to play the audio, you need to click the "Play" button, which is 80% hidden beneath a "Sponsored Link" tab, but you should see the side of the blue play button beneath the picture of Jim Crane.

Nick catches up with his pal Mike Florio to talk a little Aaron Hernandez, Steve McNair and whether or not NFL teams should be penalized for signing repeat offenders.
